Law of 2000
This Law abolished the foreign capital investment system for the year 1399 AH and included: Definitions, licensing, regulation of foreign investment in the Kingdom in terms of conditions, procedures, privileges and guarantees. The Supreme Economic Council has the authority to issue a list of the types of activities excluded from foreign investment, Rights, immunity and obligations of foreign investor, duties and powers of the General Authority for Investment, penalties for violating the Law.
